Introduction
A world of living colour brought to you with the traditional technique of lazure.
Lazure is a translucent mixture of
paint and glaze which is more commonly known as colour washing.
This effect creates subtle variations of colour using multiple layers of glaze
blended together with brushes. The lazure technique is used over a white
surface which reflects the light back through the layers of glaze making the
colours appear to be "in the space" rather than simply on the wall, creating a
depth not normally present on interior walls.
Our lazure is produced using high quality pigment paints which can be applied to almost any wall finish including new or old plastering, rough or smooth walls or structured artexing (stucco).
