Themed rooms are not only created by placing objects in a room. Here the deep hues of red lazure were used on the walls together with custom built columns, hand-painted gold leafed panels and low dark stained wooden shelving to transform an ordinary small room into an oriental  palace.

One thin layer of grey lazure can produce a very subtle feel to a room, with the detailed addition of painted on marble tiles and a silver leafed framed mirror.

Alcoves, arches and columns can easily be achieved with dry walling and plastering to create a spanish flair.  Champayne lazure was then applied with the addition of a gold leafed reception desk and terracotta floor tiles in this hotel reception area.
